Zap! is a free online science fiction webcomic created by Pascalle Lepas and Chris Layfield. It began in July of 2003 and follows the adventures of Zap Vexler, captain of the starship Excelsior, and his crew.

Zap! currently maintains a regular Monday update schedule for new pages. News items and other things are posted throughout the week.

If you are a new reader, the best place to start is the beginning, but if you want to learn a little more about the comic before starting you can always read through the cast pages, check out the gallery, or even take a peek at the latest update.
