“I’ll just talk into this arm band to try and psyche him out. No, it’s not working. He’s monologueing!!!”

Aw, let him have his moment, Maximus. Dude’s earned it.

“I love it when a plan comes together.”

okay, so at this point the generals are beginning to see a picture form in their minds. it is unknown as to whether it is a natural image brought about by their close proximity working with one another or gunner induced,….but it is starting to look vaguely like a garbage scow loaded with natural fertilizer colliding with a freighter full of high velocity gas transference equipment.

Plan A was of course to blow up the heads of everyone he didn’t like.
Plan B was to host a wild disco party, but no one replied to his invitations

Seriously? You guys feel confident enough to call Gunner out in any way? Even while monologuing, I don’t think Gunner exactly needs an army to take you two out. He could easily do it all himself, plus he’s got Naveed and I think that was Efrem we saw along side him just a few panels back. I’m thinking the General and Commander should be quite a bit more fearful.

But then I don’t really know what sort of tricks or leet skills the General and Commander may have. They’ve never really had to jump into action. (Taking out the president doesn’t count as action, that was easy peasy.) Either way this is getting good.

Disco didn’t die, it survived into the future? That must have been what doomed Gunner and Zap’s people.

  • Username Taken

Well this is going well. For the most enjoyable villain, that is, not for the generals. I keep wondering if Gunner’s going to kill them, or if we’ll get a big reveal of a crowned Zap making the kill at Gunner’s order.

Whispered into the armband ‘Blow up this building. Yes with me in it!’

  • They’ve been heads at the GEF for so long they are used to things just going their way.

  • You’ll know SOOOOOooooooooooOOOOOOn.

  • By the time he finishes the monologue, a crazy rag-tag team of resistance fighters could be on their way to thwart him!

  • Me-me

    How soon?

  • Me-me

Okay, though, is he ACTUALLY just trying to psych Gunner out? Coz some fighting would be somewhat appreciated.

  • SoooooOOOOOOOOooooon.

  • No, there’s really going to be a giant fight scene as the backdrop.

She said with a heavy sigh.

  • safyrejet

got your work cut out for you, huh?

I…I think…I’m gonna cry now. I just finished binging on your archive. 645 pages worth of story, one after the other and now…now…I…I HAVE TO WAIT!!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!! I must see what happens! This is a wonderful story, the characters are amazing, I love everything about it! I laughed, I cired, I got mad….you are wonderful artists, trully talented in your work. *sigh* The story is getting to be positively jaw dropping, not that it wasn’t already of course, but still! It’s getting better and better, and was great to begin with. You even made the least seen characters interesting! I really like the Satillites and hope they get a happy ending. I am actually hoping they wind up joining up with the protaganists, that would be cool. Oh, and poor William! I don’t want anything (real) bad to happen to him! The guy is such a sweety! And Zap! Oh, Zap! If he does get crowned I am hoping that he has the mental fortitude and will power to break free of it, like all good main characters! Perhaps with some coaxing from our favorite red head, hmm? Oh, wow. So much to happen ebfore the ending! And I only get one page at a time from now on ;_; So sad…..

  • beepboop

what… is he going to talk them to death.

  • oh god i’m not ready.

  • Awwww! Thank you so much! You showed up just before the final act! Hope you love the ending! :D

    See you every Monday!

  • Yes. THE END.

  • noisyparker

If he were really trying, he would have worn a classic Dracula cape draped over that arm. While that would totally have psyched Gunner out, doing so would completely derail the narrative, and then where would we be? It is no coincidence that that General and classic Dracula capes have been carefully kept apart.

Subvocally: And if you HAVE done anything that would cause me the slightest inconvenience, please interrupt me to tell me all about it.

Ready you are…it’s just all that work you’re looking at…

Can’t say I don’t blame you- been putting off a few gamedev projects because I’m just wanting to face all the work in question

“He was MONOLOGUIN’! He started, like, this prepared speech about how feeble I am compared to him, how inevitable my defeat is, how the world would soon be his! Yada, yada, yada. Yammerin’! I mean this guy has me on a platter, and he won’t shut up!”

    You’re thinking of Sinfest, aren’t you? ;-)

Careful Chris and Calle, if you let Gunner finish his monologue next week, then according to the Uniform Code of Fiction Uniformity, this monologue Must directly lead to the failure of Gunner’s plan. If a complete evil villain monologue is delivered without leading directly to the failure of the therein described plan, the penalties to the authors of said fiction will be up to and including censure, seizure of all assets and properties related to the creation of said fiction, and the deletion of all electronically stored copies of said fiction.

Personally, I’d love to see Gunner finish his monologue, and have something else lead to the failure of his plan, but I just had to let you two know what you’re risking.
