Shows over. Move it along. Nothing more to see here, says Europa.

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for the support you have all shown me over the past few weeks. It has been really amazing to be able to concentrate on the comic without worrying about my bills. <333 Plus, it has been really nice to get to move the story along and wrap up this story arc! There are some things coming in the next arc that I CANNOT WAIT to draw.

    Europa is wearing the daddy pants now. At least Naveed isn’t completely blinded by her pride and understands she’s doomed without help.

    In all honesty, Ganemede is down for the count, Io is drenched, Naveed has a broken arm… Europa is the only one that’s still really fit to fight. If they carried on, more would die, on both sides.

    At least Naveed is sensible enough to see that…

    Hello,
    I have been a silent Reader of Zap! for almost 2 years now. I must admit, that, being German, I was afraid of posting that the words I write don’t mean, what I want them to.But silent times are over for me and with God’s and Leo.org’s help I won’t insult anybody ;).
    I like/love/adore  your comic very much, Pascalle and Chris, and every time I see this beautiful, mind-boggling and godlike art, I get a little jealous, because the best I could draw ist a three-dimensional cube or a circuit diagram.
    I hope you will find a new job soon, Pascalle and get out of the unemployment.
    I keep my fingers crossed for you or in German: Ich drück dir die Daumen!

    On that subject, Pascalle and Chris, maybe eventually the webcomic will be enough to support you without having to have another job. Sure, that’s probably not right around the corner, but maybe the fanbase will grow enough eventually for that. Some of the more famous webcomics out there have pulled that off; Randall Munroe, who makes xkcd, Jeph Jacques, who makes Questionable Content, etc. they make enough money just from selling comic merch that they don’t need other jobs. The makers of Penny Arcade make enough to have their own annual gaming expo for chrissake. Keep making beautiful comics and fantastic stories and maybe sell a few t-shirts and before you know it, neither of you has to go job-seeking ever again  :D

    Then again, they couldn’t really have known about that.

    doesn’t look like naveed sees that to me. seems to me she realises the simple fact if she gets ditched by europa she’s as good as dead. naveed’s mindset = self preservation > vengeance, and it looks to be as simple as that.

    Speaking of XKCD, I think Pascalle needs to draw her battle scenes in giant umpteen megapixel graphics like XKCD does every now and then. The battles in Zap are way too epic for the tiny size of the comic. Of course, her web host would grind to a screeching halt every Monday if she tried that.
