At least you know it wasn’t like you guys ripped off an ending from them, or vice versa. Two good stories independently arrive at similar endings/solutions. Hey, it happens.

I thought this was more like the ending to the “The Last Airbender” tv show where the good guy couldn’t take a life, so he instead took away the great power that made him so dangerous in the first place.

Uhm, yeeeeah. That’s exactly what I was talking about but was trying to avoid spoilers on. Avatar: The Last Airbender. I haven’t even seen the giant blue smurf movie that took the word “Avatar” and mixed people up.
