but tbh, it would be an interesting twist…not very much of this happen lately, but it would b interesting to see if Reona or Zap dies instead…kinda remind me of Final Fantasy X, where there always a choice, but it never pretty.

I guess now we’ll find out if stickle technology can create plasma blasts hot enough to melt bullets before they reach their destination.

What is Gunner trying to accomplish here… I dislike how unperturbed he is. Like he’s already predicted this.

The issue I have is that anyone believes that Naveed will actually slow Zap down. Or that if that IS the plan (my suspenders of disbelief just snapped me in the face) that there’ll be anyone else alive on the ship. Or a ship for that matter.

Can’t you hear the western movie soundtrack? The rattle of spurs? The slamming of doors, as Robot finds a hiding place?

If anyone makes you play Russian roulette with a semi-automatic, make sure they go first.

Again, mental disconnect from what we’ve been shown/told about psychics versus humans, or even speed augmented aliens, and what they writers/artists want us to worry about.

They’re going somewhere with this, and I hope it makes sense, but right now, I don’t see it, based on what we’ve been told.

I get the feeling that gunner is about to emulate Tetsuo from ‘Akira’. Disarmed by an beam weapon blast. Even if he does shoot, the round will be vaporized by her armcannon, along with his gun, hand and arm. I doubt he could get an energy shield up fast enough to avoid being ‘disarmed’.
