705 | Booty Call

June 22, 2014 | 9:59 pm, by Pascalle Lepas

“Wah. My plan to enslave my best-friend and make him murder the love of his life failed.”
“It’s okay, BB. Come here.”

HEY! I announced it on twitter and facebook already, but Zap! is officially updating Monday & Thursday from now on!

THAT BEING SAID!!! Thursday’s page might be NSFW if you work in a super conservative environment, or your computer is in a public place. It’s not actually NSFW, but it has implications, and I just don’t want anyone to be embarrassed if they open the page up in front of their boss. So if you have concerns like that, wait to read it at home or check it out on your phone! xoxo

  • I drew it for myself but then the fans said they wanted it but then they really didn’t or they got embarrassed????

  • A+ would have safyrejet as a fan again.

  • THE FEW. THE PROUD.

  • Nico

As soon as I have a job again I will be buying.

  • Psithief

    Hahaha!
What makes you think it was the first thing I noticed? Pfff.

  • SpringLoaded12

I appreciate the NSFW warning for tomorrow, but to be honest… I don’t know any bosses that would be okay with their employees reading webcomics, but not okay with their employees reading sexy webcomics.

  • chrisbrady

    The catgirl lovers.

  • chrisbrady

Actually, in most jobs Webcomics no matter how tame are complete no-nos and can be firing offences if caught.

  • chrisbrady

The only way I would ‘hate’ Gunner, as more than just the series villain (he’s supposed to get defeated, so he’s supposed to do bad things) is if he kills Naveed and hangs her outside the window as a warning to anyone who pisses him off.

If he does something mildly jerkish, I’d be fine with it. He didn’t become the series antagonist by making the ‘right’ choices after all.

  • and, it’s really not bad! People are going to be disappointed!

It just looks like you might be looking at a “sexy webcomic” and I don’t want anyone to get embarrassed or in trouble.

That said, someone will still complain because they didn’t read my message! I try, I try.

  • Chrisbrady mansplaining jobs to Pascalle Lepas. – 6/25/14

I would assume that people know the rules for their own individual jobs and look at comics accordingly. Looking at a few comics at work has never been an issue at any of my jobs.

I was just trying to be cool and warn people.

  • SpringLoaded12

Aw man, here I was hoping for something hardcore, hahaha.

There will be always be people who miss messages they needed, but I’m sure there will be more who get the message and remember it. It was a good call.

  • I will be doing a hardcore short in an adult anthology called Armorous! :3

No Gunner x Naveed, though, sorry.

Uh, having been in the workforce for over a couple decades at this point and have read most of the contracts (because I’ve been burned several times), I can say with reasonable certainty, that most people do NOT know. And in fact, don’t really care until it happens to them. I’ve seen it happen in the tech industry where I worked for almost a decade. Most people, and by people I mean human beings, they just follow whatever their friends or co-workers do, expecting THEM to know the rules. And I have no reason to assume that any other job would be any different. What most of them don’t seem to figure out, from what I can tell, is that the people they copy from are likely copying from someone else, and are also hoping that they are following the rules. It’s an assumption, and sometimes (a lot more than just sometimes in my anecdotal experience, admittedly) it’s completely wrong.

So no, most people may not likely know more than the basic rules, and are just winging it because they saw some other person doing the same.

And what is ‘Mansplaining’ is that even an English word???

Anyway, a warning is always appreciated, so I sincerely thank you for that. Wish more people would do the same.

  • yeah

    I didn’t read that and I know you’re overreacting.
Mansplaining is a portmanteau of man and explaining, Lepas’ discrete feminine faculties may have been feeling impinged upon…

  • Strider Rider

    the look on panel 5?

  • “Massive”.

At most she could manage a C-cup. That isn’t even “large”, let alone “massive”.

  • Is she wearing an invisible push-up bra? I’m guessing she must be as she has inexplicable cleavage despite nothing apparently holding them together.
