Hi! New reader here, just finished my archive binge.

*insert standard new reader text here: I love your artwork, it’s improved a lot, can’t wait to see what happens next, etc.*
Seriously, though, I really love the comic.

Is it intentional that the latest strip (this one) cannot be accessed from the previous one? I have no problem going to it through the “Last” button from some of the older pages, but on the newer ones it just takes me to 611, which doesn’t contain a “Next” or “Last” button. I’m not sure exactly where the threshold is, but it is somewhere in Volume 3. I understand that the site went through a major transition that erased ancient comments and did something to dates, so it may have something to do with that.

I love how Vitale is working to save William, even from the grave so to speak. That kind of love, care, and devotion is so wonderful in a happysadtearjerking kinda way.

Aaaahhh this is getting so exciting…! The suspense!

Jeez, it’s been like three years since we last saw Zap (although we saw him briefly not too long ago, but not really. He was just chillin’ in a tube in the background). Can’t imagine how excruciating the wait would be for the readers that have been here that long.

Things are picking up once again. It will be awesome! But for now, we wait… and we wait… hmm… I wonder what Gunner’s up to these days…

You didn’t even ask me lol but I know I wonder the same thing about people finding my scattered works, so:

I originally found Zap! severrrraaaalll years ago because my older sister recommended it. I asked her last night how she found it at first, and she suspects she googled “online comic”.

Something reminded me of it a few nights ago (don’t remember what), and I came back to see how far it got. I’d been caught up sometime early with the space pirates’ arc, so, yeah, that was a while ago.
