Like maybe it isn’t a coincidence Reona is on a ship that not only shares her face, but might be the “other” ship Gunner is looking for. I mean, out of all the ships Zap winds up on its the only other one with and AI interface (so far) that happens to look like the captain left behind by an equally powerful psychic that may or may not be playing both sides? What better place than to hide it in plain sight?
Man is it going to frost Gunner’s buttons if he spent weeks on the very ship he was looking for!!Not going to lie, up until this page I was not a fan of Reona’s former lover but maybe I judged too quickly… Darn, and it was fun to hate him too.

No. That is an irrelevant detail that’d be cleared sooner or later and it matters not exactly what they are, look like so on. This will not affect the plot much. What’s at the matter of Gunner’s agenda is to interact with them in some manner and that will be what will affect the plot progression the most.
