Well, droppers are more then just rock, no? Could ganymede be able to stop if something made of metal comes crashing down? Doubtly so.

I agree. Villains with depth are consistently superior to those without; a round character will always beat a flat character. And most people see themselves as the good guys from their own perspective; even the Nazis thought they were the good guys. The truth is, no one wants to be the bad guy.

I also feel Gunner is making a gross mistake! His arrogance will get him killed eventually… Naveed desires him but he is simply using her. However, she is too dangerous to play with like that! Naveed is NOT incompetent… she is playful and short-sighted but she is VERY dangerous… and eventually she will see Gunner for what he is! I would not want to be him when that happens… Naveed seems the type to plot and plan a most sweet revenge. Gunner thinks just because he's a powerful psychic he's unstoppable. He bleeds too… and Naveed excels at making things bleed! Its a shame really.. I think Naveed could possibly be redeemed if she was made to honestly look at who she is and what she's doing. She's not stupid after all… though her enjoyment of hurting others …points at deeper problems that…might not be so easily left-behind. Only time will tell!

Gunner's ability to divine most people's thoughts and intentions shouldn't be forgotten. And there's also the fact that he will probably have Efrem helping him if Naveed endangers their cause… I think that Gunner will still have lots of trouble from Zap though, especially if Zap gets crowned. Remember, Gunner doesn't wear a crown, making him weaker. Also, my first post ^_^

I think the reason Gunner disregards non-psychics that much is because when he teamed up with Zap in the past, the two of them were pretty much unstoppable. And you're on the money with Efrem… I think he still has some feelings for “Miss Angelface” and the rest his old crew. Old loyalties don't die too easily, i guess.

I like the expressions in the last panel – they just scream “Oh…crap…”
