I didn't know where to leave this anywhere else so…
There is a problem with the top page menu. Basically we cant acces the sub-menu, when the pointer leave the icon to get on the sub-menu, it disapear(the sub-menu, not the pointer)

  • hi!
i noticed that everything else was fully loaded before the highlighted buttons for the archive navigation. so the first time my mouse pointer went over the “back” button, it disappeared before the green version loaded.
so maybe you want to put those files somewhere on the main page to preload (hidden of course)…
i'm guessing that it won't be a problem when using faster internets and/or more recent browsers, though (IE6… :-|).

  • interesting. i've tested it and it works in IE6 and 7, safari, chrome and FF 3. I'll see if I can track down a computer with IE 8 tomorrow.

  • hm. I'll see if I can save them out a little smaller so they load quicker. Caching should also help loads in the future.

It seems pretty good so far from what I can tell (meaning the beta test over all appearance and functionality). I haven't bothered to go very far back in the archives because I figured it would have the same glitch as the last site update where the first pages used the original appearance (I assume), and as you got towards more recent pages the site would switch to the newer appearance. But from as little as I have gone back, every thing seems fine for me.
