Maybe it's just me, but I just can't imagine Zap kicking ass on purpose (ie. not pissed off or scared). Although, I wonder if a memory wipe can open up the possibility of an entirely new personality… Interesting idea.

Do bad guys really ever think they’re bad guys?

  • Tehevilcat

This reminds me of Twokinds sometimes.

  • Marduk

Exactly what i was thinking. But maybe that’s how they refer to themselves.

  • Damien Horton

Are we psychically linked? Because I could have sworn I was thinking that…

  • Angela Griffin

I read this before Twokinds, but I know what you mean. Both protagonists are villains with memory-wipes, but those wipes occur for TOTALLY different reasons (I STILL don’t know why Naveed wiped Zap’s memory…)

    My first thought was KOTOR.
Trace vs Zap… hmm for some reason I didn’t make that connection.
    I wonder why?

  • Negatron

I think it’s basically because in Twokinds, Trace’s identity is established very early on. Whereas here, much like in KotOR, it takes a while to reach the big reveal.

  • Star Stealer

I think that it’s just Gunner dumbing down the idea for Zap.

(although I also wouldn’t be surprised if Gunner enjoyed being thought of as the “bad guy”.)

I like to claim I’m a bad guy, and give a really good villain laugh that frightens children.

    I guess that’s sorta evil.

“Also, we’re going to have to do something about your nose. It’s simply far too wide.”

I have a feeling I’m going to have too much fun with the Drama Button.
