    On one hand, I agree with you, this is your site, manage it as you see fit. On the other hand, a twelve year old that made it this far into the internet has the savvy to knock down a content filter like a house of cards…and has probably (as in more than 95% probably) seen more explicit things.

    Not gonna argue with your decision, but I'm sure the collateral damage will be minimal in the meantime.

    I know for a fact that twelve-year-olds have seen and heard that kind of stuff. You should go to elementary school someday and listen to the amount of cussing from the fourth graders alone. The air turned blue!

  • The issue is we have advertising partners who have standards related to the content of the site. We just try to keep it PG-13 around here.

    If they don’t like someone’s comment or language, they are well within their rights to do whatever editing they feel is appropriate – as would you, with your own website.
